The Boer goat originated in South Africa. We proudly brought the first advanced Boer genetics to Nepal around 2072 BS. Since then, they have become one of the most popular unnat jaat (improved breeds) for commercial masu utpadan (meat production) nationwide.
Boer goats have white bodies and distinctive brown heads. They possess long pendulous ears and are renowned for extremely high fertility rates and disease resistance.
